General

There is no VAT on gold but there is a 23% VAT on silver and platinum products.

No, due to security reasons we do not hold any stock on our premises.

For all bullion products on the market there is a premium that is added to the spot price. This premium includes the refinery’s production costs of the product and our low commission.

Our online prices are updated every minute to reflect the most up to date live market price.

The trading of precious metals does not require regulation with the Irish Central bank or any other regulatory bodies.

Due to Anti-Money Laundering regulations we may require your ID and proof of address to prove who you are.

Please be assured that any documents that we request from you will not be passed onto any third parties. Documents will be filed for our personal record however if they are requested for by the Revenue, or if we suspect any suspicious transactions of money laundering your documents will be passed on.

Delivery

There will be a standard delivery charge of €12.50 for orders up to €20,000.00, orders over this amount will be €20.80. Any further queries please kindly contact our team.

All deliveries will be fully insured for by Aurum Metal Invest.

Once your order has been dispatched our team will email your tracking details for your package(s) so you can track the delivery progress.

We aim to have the goods delivered to you between 5-7 working days.

Yes we can certainly ship internationally however please note there will be higher delivery costs and you will be liable for any import fees or taxes.

Don’t worry, missed deliveries with An post you’ll receive a missed delivery note where you can later collect the package from your local depot. For missed courier deliveries two further delivery attempts will be made.

Collection

You certainly can. Simply select the collection option at checkout, request for it over the telephone or by email.

Yes, please contact us to arrange a convenient time for you to come into our office.

From when your funds have cleared we aim to have your order ready for collection in between 3-5 working days time.

We require a form of photo ID and proof of purchase.

There is pay and display parking across from our office.

Payment

We accept payments by bank transfer only.

We can accept payment in Euros.

We do not accept payments over the telephone but we can send you an invoice so you can make payment by bank transfer.

Once you have opted for bank transfer immediate payment for your order is required. We will send you our bank details so you can make an electronic bank transfer to us. Confirmation of payment is required in order to secure price.

At times we may require further information from you due to strict anti-money laundering regulations we must follow in order to protect all parties.

You do not need to open an account with us but you do have the option to which can help you save time on your next purchase, view your order history and track the progress of your order.

Unfortunately there is no statutory right to cancel as the prices for gold, silver and platinum are subject to fluctuations in the financial markets which is not within our control.

Storage

Simply select the storage option at checkout or request for storage over the telephone or email our team.

There are different pricing depending on the level of cover required for your valuables. Please go to our storage page for full pricing.

Our highly secure storage facility is located in the center of Dublin unfortunately due to security reasons we are unable to disclose the exact location.

Your valuables will be fully insured.

We will require a copy of your photo ID and a recent utility bill.

We will send you a receipt for your order, certificate of ownership and a letter of instruction that must be returned to us.

Your storage is renewed every year where a member of our team will contact you beforehand by telephone or email to help renew.

Kindly contact us with your instructions and we will make arrangements right away. Please allow 5 working days notice.

At the time of storage we will send a ‘Letter of instruction’ to you where you will inform us of your wishes we will then follow these instructions given to us.
